Regis, along with our residents and their families, appreciate the dedication and hard work required to be a carer and we strive to give you the best opportunity for success in a role with Regis.Working within a supportive and dynamic team, you will be provided with a challenging and diverse work environment, as well as an opportunity for you to contribute and make a real difference to the residential aged care community.Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide quality support to residents with their personal care and activities of daily livingCollaborating with the healthcare team, including nurses, doctors, and other allied health professionals, to provide holistic and person-centered care, contributing to a positive team culture and effective care coordinationMaintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation and records, including care plans, incident reports, and observations, as per Queensland Health standards and Regis policiesEffectively communicating with residents, their families, and the healthcare team, including nurses, doctors, and allied health professionals, to provide updates, report concerns, and ensure continuity of care.About youAs a collaborative member of the team, you will possess:Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support or recognised equivalentPrevious placement and/or experience in a personal care role in aged care (desirable but not essential)Demonstrated ability to work to required resident outcomesAbility to deliver excellent customer service through empathy and compassion towards residents. Understanding their emotional needs and providing emotional support to enhance their well-being and comfort.Time management and interpersonal skillsIf you are currently studying or looking to do a Certificate III in Individual Support or hold a Certificate II in Health Services, we invite you to apply and welcome the opportunity to speak with you.
