Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of project plans to support the the Right to Information Act 2009
- Oversee the establishment of a mandatory data breach notification function under the Information Privacy Act 2009.
- Engage and support other Queensland Government agencies in understanding and adopting new legislative obligations.
- Ensure project deliverables, objectives, and stakeholder expectations are met.
- Manage all aspects of project delivery including budgeting, resource allocation, risk management, and benefits realisation.
- Provide regular reporting to project directors and executive sponsors on progress, risks, and milestones.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager delivering legislative change projects within a Queensland Government department.
- Proven success in managing projects to tight timeframes and complex stakeholder environments.
- Relevant Project Management certification or qualification.
