The Position:The hospital is looking for a Clinical Director - Paediatric Medicine to join their dynamic team. The Child and Adolescent Unit provide inpatient, outpatient and outreach care for children and adolescents aged from maternity discharge to 18 years of age. You will provide organisational, management and clinical leadership to the paediatrics team across all professional disciplines (medical, nursing, allied health, operational and administration). Your opportunity is to lead clinical, service and cultural transformation to deliver optimum patient care, and to ensure integration of services both the health service and with partner agencies in the wider community. The position forms part of the senior management team that is responsible for the provision of high quality clinical care for patients requiring paediatric services with the health service and delivery of key performance indicators as determined by the HHS.The Hospital:The region has been firmly fixed in a long-term cycle of positive growth and is the largest regional economy in Queensland. The region boasts steady population growth and the third largest gross regional product in Queensland.It services approximately 182,000 people in an area of approximately 90,000km.
