The Project Manager role is to ensure execution of projects within a given timeframe and budget. The Project Manager will liaise with all relevant internal and external stakeholders and foster open communication and flow of information
This position will be based in Perth, Australia.What You Will Do
- Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring and Closing of a project
- Development of a project management plans to track project progress.
- Defining of project scopes
- Creation and submission of Progress claims
- Ensuring project tasks are executed and reviewed within scope.
- Create accurate forecasts for revenue and resource requirements
- Manage project expectations with external and internal stakeholders
- Conduct project meetings
- Evaluate project performance with appropriate KPIs
- Report and escalate issues when necessary
- Make recommendations for project improvements
- Monitor project safety and ensure safety control measures are in place
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Preferred degree or vocational qualifications in related area
- A high level of organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
- Pragmatic approach to processes and stakeholder management
- Managing multiple small projects
- Empathy
- Competence and sensitive communication skills with various stakeholders
- Ability to manage conflict and self-reflect
- Awareness of when to involve other decision makers
- Ability to look realistically at a challenge ahead and still have the ability to maintain the motivation and crack a joke.
