Fitter and Turner

- Based in the Southeast suburbs of Melbourne
- Seeking a trades qualified Toolmaker/Fitter
- Ongoing contract
- Oversee continuous & thorough upkeep of all production machinery across the manufacturing facility
- Work with the Maintanance Manager to ensure any potential risk to plant and equipment are realised, captured & actioned
- Give valuable feedback regarding all aspects of plant improvements, preventative maintenance and potential efficiency gains whilst maintaining time management around the weekly production schedule
- Ensure all safety issues are given high priority and are addressed with a sense of urgency
- Preventative maintenance, overhauls, small project work & fabrication work with a strong emphasis on machine up-time & reliability
- Trade certified Toolmaker certificate
- Strong experience in maintenance/reliability within plastics, pharmaceutical, FMCG or other highly regulated industries
- Proven experience in maintenance, fabrication and troubleshooting within a high-pressured environment
- Must have experience with Injection Moulding machines
- Knowledge of MEX (Computer Maintenance Management systems) or similar
- Electrical D-license (nice to have)
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
