Join a dynamic mechanical engineering firm in the heart of Queensland’s South Burnett region, where no two days are the same. From power stations to mining sites, our team designs and fabricates innovative, practical solutions for clients across Australia – all from our base in Nanango.We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Drafter who wants more than just a desk job – someone excited to be hands-on in a fast-moving workshop environment and to see their work come to life.What you’ll be doing:

Producing detailed technical drawings, 3D models and specifications using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor)
Collaborating closely with engineers, fabricators and clients to create practical, fit-for-purpose solutions
Contributing to mechanical engineering projects for industries including power generation and mining
Ensuring designs meet all relevant standards, codes and client requirements
Supporting project planning, problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives

What you’ll bring:

Demonstrated experience in mechanical drafting (manufacturing or workshop background preferred)
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Inventor)
Strong problem-solving skills and technical know-how
Attention to detail and a passion for delivering quality outcomes
Willingness to embrace rural living and contribute to our collaborative, close-knit team
