If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!We are seeking a dedicated Quality and Safety Manager – Government to join our Toll Aviation business unit. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flight operational and engineering quality and safety requirements associated with our NSW / ACT Ambulance Service Contract. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to spearhead key continuous improvement initiatives in support our broader Quality and Safety functional Strategy. This position is based in Sydney out of our Bankstown Airport facility with plenty of opportunity for regular travel to our Base locations across regional NSW and the ACT.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Assuring the effective implementation and maintenance of all required quality, safety, and environmental processes and procedures for our NSWA/ACTAS Contract operations.Leading and overseeing the local management response for all NSWA/ACTAS contract-related quality, safety, and environmental hazards and occurrences.Overseeing the timely and effective treatment of quality, safety, and environmental risks arising from our complex array of NSWA/ACTAS helicopter operations and MRO support services.Leading investigations and audit activities, conducting root cause and defect analysis, and providing advice on appropriate risk treatment and corrective-action response plans.To be successful in this role, you will need:Minimum 8+ years of previous experience providing quality and safety management support in an Aviation environment.Extensive knowledge and experience with ISO9001 Quality Management and ISO 45001 OHS Management requirements, as well as with CASA Regulatory Parts 119 and 145.Proven experience leading complex investigations and audits.Familiarity with CASA and ATSB Reporting requirements.Previous exposure to Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) and /or Search and Rescue Operations.Experience in developing and facilitating Quality and Safety Training.If you are ready to be a part of an organisation making an impact to public health and the community by helping assure the safety and success of our operations, apply now and join us in shaping the future of aviation safety and excellence.What moves you?At Toll, you can help play a vital role in delivering what matters.
