That’s the type of service AMPS aims to deliver every day, and this role will help make it happen.The BusinessAMPS is a progressive agribusiness with a unique mix of commercial service and independent, industry-leading research. With six locations across Northern NSW and around 65 staff, AMPS partners with some of the region’s largest and most forward-thinking growers.Their business operates in two complementary arms - AMPS Commercial and AMPS Research -which together deliver value that goes beyond products, strengthening farm performance and industry innovation.The RoleBased at their Moree branch and reporting to the Branch Manager, this newly created position will work alongside the Sales and Agronomy team to oversee and improve the branch’s commercial operations.Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing procurement, inventory planning, and supplier relationships
  • Coordinating merchandise sales, orders, and deliveries
  • Anticipating customer needs and ensuring reliable, timely service
  • Identifying opportunities to improve stock control, logistics, and service delivery
While much of the work is office-based, the role also involves getting out from behind the desk to attend farm visits, research field days and other activities that build strong relationships with customers and the community.About YouWe’re open to candidates at different career stages; whether you’re earlier in your journey with a background in ag merchandise, logistics, grain handling or rural supply… or a seasoned commercial manager looking for your next challenge.Either way, you’ll bring:
  • Commercial awareness and an interest in agriculture and regional industries
  • The ability to genuinely connect with rural communities and build trust
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to planning
  • Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office essential; Sage or similar an advantage)
  • Agsafe accreditation (or the willingness to obtain it)
