Home to 140+ independent living units, you will enjoy spending time outdoors, maintaining the day-to-day upkeep of our gardens and grounds. You will enjoy building relationships with residents, being hands-on and take pride in the lawns, gardens and grounds of the community. If you're looking for a change in career, better work/life balance or a resident-facing role, make the switch to retirement living!This opportunity is a permanent part-time position working every Tuesday & Thursday 9-5pm (flexible on shift time)What we offer:

Your Impact

Work with the fellow Gardeners to maintain of all village gardens including weeding, mowing, hedging, pruning, mulching and green waste removal
Ensure all community spaces are appealing and safe for our community and visitors
Maintain effective working relationships with maintenance contractors and suppliers
Carry out preventative maintenance tasks around the community as per schedules
Build strong relationships with our residents and enjoy helping them to live their best lives with well-maintained areas.

What you'll bring

A warm & caring personality with an interest to make a difference every day
Experience in domestic gardening duties such as mowing, pruning and mulching (highly desired)
Current Police Check certificate (required, but if you do not possess, we can complete for you)
Valid driver's licence and two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
