Closing Date: 11:30pm, Saturday 6th September 2025About the OpportunityWe are seeking a Casual Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR) Officer to join our casual pool. This role is responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and efficient customer accounting services across accounts payable and receivable functions. The successful candidate will also provide high-quality customer service, building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.The ASO2 Casual AP/AR Officer is responsible for the following:
  • Undertake the functions and associated tasks related to accounts payable and/or accounts receivable.
  • Effective and efficient customer service delivery
  • Actively contribute to business improvement, identifying and raising opportunities as they arise.
  • Comply with process and authorisation processes to provide quality assurance and governance
  • Embrace and encourage diversity and cultural differences in the workplace.

  • Ability and commitment to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of personal organisation skills and ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
  • Interpersonal skills consistent with providing high quality customer service and the trust and cooperation of others
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

  • This is a casual pool position, for up to 12 months with a possibility of extension.
  • Positions are available, based off business needs and requirements.
  • There are no guaranteed hours of work.
  • A 25 percent casual loading applies in lieu of sick leave and annual leave.
About the BusinessThe Office of the Public Trustee (Public Trustee) operates as part of the Attorney-General’s Department and was established on 1 January 1881, under the Public Trustee Act 1995 (SA).
