We’re looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Warehouse Assistant to join our Geochemistry operations in Stafford.This role plays a key part in the smooth running of our sample processing, inventory movement, and dispatch operations.You’ll assist with the handling of geological samples, coordinate inventory movements, operate forklifts and other machinery, and ensure materials are delivered to the right place at the right time.This is a role for someone who thrives in a physical, fast-paced environment and enjoys keeping things organized and moving.The day to day
Responsibilities include:Logging, weighing and drying incoming samples and preparing them for lab processingSafely transporting samples and materials between sites using forklifts and manual handling toolsReceiving, scanning and storing inventory and supplies in appropriate locationsPacking large items for shipment and labelling them for transitConducting stock takes and assisting with warehouse auditsMaintaining warehouse housekeeping and reporting hazardsAssisting with waste management and following all HSE proceduresMatching deliveries with invoices and recording stock movementsThe essentials
