Access theAbout the roleFixed term temporary full time opportunity to deliver high quality core social work clinical services as part of the multidisciplinary team to patients in the Surgical Stream, Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and to their families and carers, so as to optimise the psychosocial outcomes of their utilisation of health care services.About youOur ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
  • Identify clinical risk and provide multiple clinical interventions to maximise patient health and psychosocial outcomes including domestic and family violence, elder abuse, and child protection.
  • Work effectively and efficiently with patients; their families/caregivers and external agencies as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide clinical education about the social work role for undergraduate students, less experienced staff and the multidisciplinary team with the support of senior clinical staff.
