- Assist with the development of new laser subsystems, primarily high energy lasers for ground-to-space applications. Includes laser design, component specification, assembly, optical alignment, and optimisation.
- Work alongside other engineering disciplines and communicate system requirements.
- Contribute to the instrumentation of cutting-edge opto-electronics subsystems.
- Combine novel technologies or concepts to support the innovation and development of EOS IP.
- Support the Engineering teams and communicate activity and progress to the respective discipline manager and VPs.
- Undertake and document investigative experiments to inform the company’s research activities.

- Bachelor’s degree in Physics/Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with bulk solid-state and/or laser systems.
- Experience with the alignment and operation of Class 4 lasers, pulsed and CW.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Experience with Matlab or a programming language (Python, C++) is desirable.
