Project ManagerCook Shire Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to deliver high-impact municipal infrastructure projects across our unique and vibrant region. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact to the strategic development of Australia’s largest shire by land area, surrounded by rich cultural heritage and spectacular natural beauty.Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will oversee a diverse range of capital works projects from initial concept and planning through to execution and post completion review. What you'll be doing
  • Manage the full lifecycle of capital works.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and quality outcomes.
  • Provide strong stakeholder engagement.
  • Prepare project documentation, risk assessments, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative, safety, and Council standards.
What we're looking for
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management and/or Civil Engineering.
  • Proven project delivery experience.
  • Strong contract management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Current QLD C Class Driver’s Licence and Construction White Card.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
