- Ability to undertake a certificate III in Feedlot Operations

- Undertaking pre-start inspections of all machinery prior to operation
- Ensuring the production of grain processing to meet requirements
- Monitoring processes to ensure targets are met
- Inventory management
- Troubleshooting and rectifying issues to help increase efficiencies to ensure consistency of product
- Conducting handovers with fellow Mill Operators
- Water quality management
- Communicating with fellow operators
- Promoting and maintaining a safe work environment to prevent injuries and lost time
- Additional tasks as directed by management
- Current Intermediate Boiler Operators Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Experience with grain receival, handling, processing and steam flaking milling preferred
- Mechanically/process minded with the ability to be methodical and identify irregularities
- Ability to work shift work including weekends
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Basic computer skills and methodical record keeping shills required
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with limited supervision as part of a small team
- Must have a good work ethic and be able to take and follow instruction
- Fever vaccinated or be willing to receive a Q Fever vaccination
