Eligibility: Open to EveryoneThe Higher Courts are seeking a motivated and capable individual to fulfil the role of Listings Coordinator, Criminal for the Supreme Court and District Court of South Australia. Located in Adelaide CBD, the position plays a crucial role in the administration of justice and is accountable for case list production, management of the higher courts listings diary, listing matters for hearings and receiving and processing lodgements. The Listings Coordinator, Criminal works as part of a team whose focus is high level services delivery to the Higher Courts and provides daily challenges in an exciting dynamic team environment.What you’ll do:
- Manage the Higher Courts listings diary
- Produce the daily case list and Higher Court audio visual link list
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to negotiate the allocation of court resources
- Process court lodgements and provide a high-level data entry service
- Prepare court material to be sent to external stakeholders for preparation of court ordered reports
- Learn new concepts quickly and have the ability to apply new skills.
- Be self-driven and have a flexible approach to work, with the proven ability to work autonomously whilst dealing with high volumes of work and competing priorities.
- Be proficient in a variety of IT software and hardware, in a dynamic environment.
- Possess well developed communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and concisely and to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Have the proven ability to effectively build positive relationships with team members and work effectively as part of a team and take direction from leaders.
- Possess high level attention to detail, time management and organisational skills.
- This is a short-term contract for up to 6 months, with the possibility of being extended beyond this.
- Appointment is under the Courts Administration Act 1993. Terms and conditions of employment are governed by the Public Sector Act 2009.
- As a justice agency, the CAA may receive details of spent convictions as part of any Criminal History Screening and use this information in the selection process.
- Appointment is dependent upon a current National Police Certificate that the CAA finds satisfactory.
