Established in 1874, we have grown to become the world leader in mining and civil blasting with a diverse of team of more than 13,000 across the world.It's an exciting time to join us - we are shaping the future of mining through digital and automated technologies, embracing new ways of thinking, pioneering innovation and reimagining the way we work.About the roleWe are delighted to announce that we are looking for a Warehouse Coordinator at our flagship Yarwun manufacturing site located in Gladstone, Queensland.Orica Yarwun manufactures nitric acid, ammonium nitrate and sodium cyanide products which are used in mining, infrastructure, agriculture, and water industries locally, nationally and internationally. Orica has operated at Yarwun for over 35 years and is committed to the health and safety of employees and minimising the impact of our manufacturing activities on the community and the environment.The successful candidate will be working within the Sodium Cyanide Complex.The role is part of a 10-hour rotating roster of 4 days on 5 days off, 5 days on 4 days off, 5 days on 5 days off. Additional hours are required to be worked to meet business and training requirements.What you will be doing

Ensuring work practices and environment comply with the safety, health and environment standards;
Responsible for the Goods Receipts of materials delivered to the Warehouse and direct materials as required;
Performing stock counts as required;
Perform inventory movement activities;
Ensure that the products within the warehouse are not damaged, lost or mishandled;
Perform all picking and packing activities for work orders and reservations;
Implement best practices and look for opportunities to improve safety and efficiency within the warehouse and reduce costs for the organization.

What you will bring

Forklift license is a must have;
Experience with SAP Material Management module is a nice to have;
Ability to work autonomously and in a small team environment;
Physically fit and capable of completing the demands of the work environment; and
Continuous manufacturing experience, preferably in a Major Hazard Facility, petrochemical or chemical manufacturing.
