- PhD degree by research qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. electrical/electronic engineering, physics, or materials engineering).
- Experience in teaching Electromagnetics and Transmission Lines, Wireless Communications, and/or RF/Microwave Engineering.
- Evidence of high-quality teaching and student support.
- Familiarity with simulation tools for microwave/radio frequency electronics such as Cadence AWR, electromagnetic simulation such as FEKO and/or Ansys HFSS, and/or IC design tool such as Cadence Virtuoso & Spectre.
- Experience performing measurements at radio/microwave frequencies involving electronic circuits/systems (such as CMOS circuits) and interpreting the measurement results.
- Evidence of research outputs and communication of methods and results.
- Commitment to principles of equity and diversity and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
- Leadership and experience in developing high-quality curriculum and assessment in the above teaching areas.
- Experience with radio astronomy interferometry and instrumentation.
- Experience with IC design and semiconductor modelling.
