We have a long heritage of bringing innovation and expertise, continuously working to contribute to the growth of society and our customers.About the roleWe are seeking an ICT Facilities Services Specialist with NV2 or TSPV clearance to oversee the management of ICT facilities surrounding the interim operation of a capability, with potential application to similar capabilities in the future.About youResponsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of the facility, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Manage all applicable contractors to ensure they deliver best practice maintenance services in line with CIOG Data Centre Strategy.
  • Participate in a successful on-call roster arrangement, supporting the core goals of data centre uptime of critical plant (Chillers, UPS, generators) and handling customer remote hands requests.
  • Work collaboratively with project staff and service delivery teams to ensure seamless maintenance and a positive tenant experience.
  • Assist in developing and enforcing Facility Rules for the facility to ensure compliance by all stakeholders.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with Maintenance Operating Procedures (MOPs) through IOF maintenance register and documentation.
Requirements:
  • Strong working knowledge of Defence Standards, including Information Security Manual (ISM), Defence Cabling Standard (DCS), Defence Communications Room Standard (DCRS), Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).
  • Understanding of Australian Standards applicable to an ICT facility and communication infrastructure environment, including knowledge of AS/NZS 3000, S008, S009, and AS/NZS 11801.
  • Thorough understanding of Defence security protocols, including associated documentation such as PSPF, ISM, and DSM.
  • Ability to comfortably engage with external stakeholders within a government environment, up to and including Band level.
  • Ability to prepare briefs and reports in an articulate manner, both verbally and in written form.
  • Strong knowledge and experience working in the construction industry.
  • Experience in project management.
