
Internal Controls & Compliance Analyst - Temp

- Support the planning and execution of internal control requirements across multiple departments.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of business processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and control weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain step-by-step internal control process documentation for all departments.
- Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend actionable risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement effective risk management initiatives.
- Perform post implementation control Self-Assessment (CSA) walkthroughs to evaluate control design and operational effectiveness.
- Assist the Financial Controller and project lead in preparing progress report and presenting key findings to senior leadership.
- Monitor adherence to internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of audit activities, findings, and follow-up actions.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of audit tools, templates, and methodologies.
- Stay current with industry's best practices and regulatory developments relevant to internal audit and compliance.
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance (risk and compliance), Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or a related compliance role.
- Strong understanding of risk management and internal control frameworks.
- Experience working with complex systems and data analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- CPA or progressing towards CPA or CA certification.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with audit software or ERP systems (e.g., Sage).
