In order to deliver this commitment, we seek like-minded people and work hard to support our staff to realise their full potential.About the role:The role is a key leadership role within the parts team and is an integral part of our future success. In this role, you will develop strong relationships with our Parts team and customers to proactively ensure internal and external customer satisfaction while promoting all aspects of our brand in a professional manner.The key responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to:Team management to ensure that all employees are working in a safe environment, ensure all department targets are met including confirming stock is correctly receipted in and correctly receipted out, all customer transactions are managed in a timely and professional way and that any issues are raised and managed appropriately.Ensuring that all sales (including lost sales) and/or customer transactions are recorded using the company systems in line with company guidelines including minimising exposure where possible to financial loss by ensuring that any parts transactions has the necessary paper work, payment terms or other arrangements in a written and agreed format.Proactively study and stay current on industry and product information providing advice and guidance to customers, the parts team and other key stakeholders within the business.Proactively manage, coordinate and facilitate the stock take process ensuring all parts are accounted for, in the allocated area and reported on our internal computer system.You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
  • Proven ability to build relationships with customers, fellow work colleagues and management.
  • Experience within a leadership role within the Construction, Automotive or Mining industries.
  • Strong leadership skills including outstanding communication (verbal and written) and motivational skills.
  • Previous industry and parts experience would be beneficial.
  • Ability to evaluate and assess operations and respond to changing needs.
  • Strong computer skills including knowledge of stock control packages
