Lead a high-performing team and help drive the delivery of an iconic project.Long-term project pipeline – enjoy stability and longevity in this role.Access to all Lendlease Employee benefits, including additional leave, bonus scheme, and health and wellbeing programs.About the role:Lendlease ACT currently have an opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager to join their team and support the delivery of our current and upcoming pipeline of work in the region.As a Commercial Manager, you will take ownership of all commercial aspects of your project, including administration of the head contract and subcontracts, developing the procurement strategy and processes, as well as outlining cost controls, budgets and managing project cash flow. You will also be responsible to ensuring that contracts and documentation contain the necessary EH&S inclusions. As this is a leadership role you will also lead and mentor the commercial and administration project team through to handover.To be successful, you will need:A construction management, building, engineering, or quantity surveying degree or equivalent coupled with 10+ years industry experience in the construction industry, ideally on projects above $100 million.Expertise in contract management, construction law and quantity surveying, along with program financial management, risk and opportunity management, performance reporting, budget preparation and administration.Experience managing and developing teams of junior staff, strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience managing groups of high-level stakeholders, both internal and external.To be successful, you will need:A construction management, building, engineering, or quantity surveying degree or equivalent coupled with 15+ years industry experience in the construction industry, ideally on projects above $200 million.
