- Delivering restraint and other training to MSS employees and contractors, specific to working in the healthcare environment
- Ensuring that all security officers are compliant with the requirement of MSS Security and the Customer SLA
- Liaising with MSS Management and the Client to conduct investigations of incidents, injuries or any other events at site
- Assisting Management with resolving issues on site
- Assisting Business and Operations Managers with conducting disciplinary action for minor breaches (e.g. not wearing correct MSS uniform)
- Ensuring all personnel fully conform to company policy including Security Officer Standing instructions, Site Standing Orders and other instructions
- Conducting regular site visits ensuring Site Operating Procedures are updated and maintained
- Ensuring all sites are equipped with adequate communications
- Ensuring the effective and efficient management, maintenance and distribution of radio communications
- Ensuring other audit devices (e.g. probe points, wands and data capture) are working effectively and rectifying or reporting malfunctions promptly
- Reviewing sites on a regular basis ensuring procedures are aligned with site risk factors
- Conducting security and firearms checks in conjunction with period audits
- Providing advice, counselling and guidance to personnel in regards to risk and performance management issues
- Ensuring all security officers are correctly uniformed and licensed
- Delivering uniforms to sites as and when required
- Promoting customer service by providing courteous and helpful assistance to client enquiries
- Ensuring prompt attention is given to any customer dissatisfaction by communicating to the relevant Manager
- Being aware of and following company policy and procedures regarding Health, Safety and Environment
- Reporting and recommending solutions for non-compliances detected which may affect the quality of service provided
- Identifying training and development needs
- Providing employees with feedback and recognition
- Identifying and rectifying employee issues
- Providing guidance, coaching and professional development
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders
- Achieving a positive employee relation’s environment where employees are engaged and motivated
- Providing positive leadership by example to all field personnel
- Providing back-up and ‘last resort’ coverage of shifts in critical circumstances
- Attending to site emergencies, incidents and accident and accompany injured workers to medical assistance
- Completing daily shift reports including issues, action and possible market intelligence
- Ensuring all mandatory training modules are completed
- Other duties as required by the Management
