To put it simply, we help our clients make their finance functions more efficient and effective.Join our fast-paced and growing team to work with like-minded individuals who are passionate about offering Deloitte's latest thinking on the future of finance to the Corporate and Public Sector in relation to key accounting, reporting and finance matters.Enough about us, let's talk about you.You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:
  • Qualifications in an accounting/finance degree and CA qualification or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience within accounting, finance or audit
  • Experience working with a government accounting function would be highly desirable
  • Excellent technical accounting skills with experience in applying accounting standards to government projects
  • Skills in financial reporting, management accounting or budgeting
  • A dedicated work ethic and a hunger for development opportunities
  • Well-developed relationship management skills
  • Excellent collaborative skills, precision thinking and a dedicated work ethic
  • Strong excel skills including working with macros
  • Proven ability to analyse, summarise and present large quantum of data
  • Excellent skills delivering finance or accounting advisory projects or internal improvement activities
  • Well-developed relationship management skills
  • Strong experience in managing variety of stakeholders effectively, both externally and internally
  • Experience in coaching and guiding other team members in applying tools, guidance and methodology in delivering projects
  • Federal Government security clearance is desirable and will be required as part of the role
