Pepper has grown to become one of Australia’s largest non-bank lenders and has been consistently recognised as Australia’s Best Specialist lender.The RoleThe purpose of the Trust Accountant (6-month temporary contract) role is to ensure accurate and timely trust accounting and month-end reporting, reconciliation and initiation of transactions related to the Pepper Lending Systems.In addition, the role will support the other accounting and operation activities related to the Pepper Trust entities (Special Purpose Vehicles).

Reconciliation of daily loan to bank transactions for Warehouse and Securitisation Trust accounts, as well as various Trust collection bank accounts relating to lending systems.
Preparation of daily cash payments
Prepare Trust bank account (and other) reconciliations, including GL coding.
Support Operations team with processing of financial adjustments (if required) in the mortgage platform.

About youWhat we're looking for:

CPA Qualified or partially qualified/working towards
Experience in an accounting role with exposure to managing Trust Accounts
Proven experience in performing bank and portfolio reconciliations and variance identification
ERP Systems knowledge (Alteryx experience desirable)
