About the roleThe Visitor Information Officer will work as a member of a team to ensure a high level of service is offered to visitors of the Mount Field National Park visitor centre.You'll achieve this by providing information to visitors on the walking trails at Mount Field and surrounding areas, providing safety information, and information on the natural and cultural values of Mount Field National Park.You'll facilitate the sale of park passes and retail items, assist with cash reconciliation, stock management and ordering, compiling visitor statistics, and other administrative tasks.Visit to find out more about Mount Field National Park.About usThe Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania (NRE Tas) is committed to our vision of “delivering a sustainable Tasmania” where our natural resources, cultural values and environment are recognised and used sustainably to support our future prosperity.   • A current motor vehicle driver's licence.
  • A current Workplace Level 2 First Aid Certificate or equivalent.
