- Have a degree or diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent
- Can obtain First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
- Understand the National Quality Framework & National Education & Care Services Regulations 2012
- Have experience as a Manager/Director/Supervisor/Assistant Director/Assistant Manager in an early childhood setting
- Retain knowledge in child development / high quality programming practices.
- Have an understanding of financial and administrative functions
- Can obtain a National Police Certificate and Working with Children card
