The Director of Medical Services work within a collaborative executive team and is the line manager for all senior and junior doctors as well as the medical administration unit.Working hours are Monday to Friday on site and participation in an executive on call roster.To apply, please address the following Selection Criteria1. Registered as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia (MBA) / Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).2. Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA).3. Demonstrated experience operating effectively in a clinical leadership and management role at a executive/senior level inclusive of medical administration, medical workforce, professional practice, clinical governance, clinical ethics, clinical teaching and clinical leadership.4. Demonstrated expertise managing health financial and activity reporting systems.5. Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary health issues, rural healthcare priorities and reform agendas within the NSW Health system.6. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, especially with senior medical practitioners and clinicians.7. Licence to drive in NSW and ability to travel regularly for work purposes.
