Labels, wraps and displays meat merchandise. Stocks display case and rotates merchandise. Inspects and reassembles
equipment for use. Performs routine maintenance for machinery and equipment. Cleans and sanitises work area throughout
the day as well as performs duties that comply with the health code. Follows proper safety procedures and standards.Job Duties/Essential Functions
- Inspects and reassembles equipment sanitised previous night
- Reworks display case and rotates merchandise
- Takes large trays of packaged meat from large wheeled rack and places individual packages into automatic wrapping
- Follows safety and security procedures
- Labels merchandise and puts wrapped and labelled merchandise in display case
- Operates meat grinder
- Follows proper department production procedures and standards for quality and consistency of finished merchandise
- Cleans and sanitises area throughout the day
- Performs duties to comply with health code
- Performs routine maintenance for machinery, equipment
- Follows Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) guidelines as it refers to proper cleaning and sanitation of all
- Completes and complies with 11 Commandments of Quality Assurance, Food Safety Certification, and all safety
- Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary
- Provides and ensures prompt and courteous member service to members, employees and vendors.
- Commercial grinder, wheeled racks, wrapping machine and pressure washer.
