As part of the MedHealth group – a purpose-built collection of 22 industry leading health, medical and employment brands – and with more than 80 mental health clinicians, we deliver mental health support to meet the unique needs of individual clients and corporate customers Australia-wide.Our vision is to support people to live their best life by connecting people with the mental health support they need, when they need it.Job DescriptionWe are looking for Psychologists Registered AHPRA (Provisional and General Psych) or Accredited Mental Health Social Workers AASW who can deliver authentic, compassionate, and dependable mental health support in a wide range of services including Workers Compensation Schemes, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and Medicare clients.This is a part-time (1 to 4 days) and a hybrid role.As a clinician working with Access Psych, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals navigate the challenges of work-related injuries, stress, pain management and other occupational issues. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of clients. In this diverse role, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day.Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based mental health training, assessment, and treatment to clients with a range of mental health conditions and outcome goals;
  • Work collaboratively with clients, medical and allied health professionals, case mangers and employers to assist people return to work and/or fully re-engage with the community;
  • Complete assessments and interventions using your clinical skills;
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organisational and regulatory standards.

QualificationsJoining our team of mental health professionals is straightforward. But first, you need to meet a few mandatory requirements:
  • General and Provisional Psychologist Registered with AHPRA; or
  • Accredited Mental Health Social Worker – AASW;
  • Willingness to obtain relevant accreditations including NSW State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) and WorkSafe Victoria accreditations;
  • You have permanent residency in Australia;
  • You are passionate about improving lives through work and health;
  • You want to part of a dynamic, social and hard-working team.
  • Interest and willingness to work with workers compensation clients.
