- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, including prospecting and building relationships with potential clients.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to drive innovation and market advantage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and marketing, to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring a customer centric approach.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, analysing performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Arrange and schedule shipments with international suppliers
- Coordinate between customs, shipping lines and transport companies
- Process and review shipping documentation for international shipping
- Liaise with Port Authority, agent and competitive vessels regarding berth
- Prepare and update monthly reports
- Build effective relationships with clients, stakeholders and team members.
- Are a positive, energetic individual that is motivated to succeed in a dynamic environment.
- Have well-developed construction market knowledge (preferred); however industrial sector awareness is advantageous!
- A keen understanding of International shipping, import and export
- Excellent comprehension around Australian Standards, Codes of Practice and Guidelines
- Strong problem solving skills
- Well versed in using Microsoft Office programs
- Have excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Are self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Possess proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address customer needs effectively.
