This hospital, with nearly 300 beds, is a regional hub for healthcare services. The Emergency Department features resus bays, high dependency bays, consultation rooms, a Short Stay Unit, and a Fast Track area with multiple consult rooms. The hospital serves 10 rural hospitals and multi-purpose health facilities across the region.It is currently undergoing a $250 million redevelopment of the Base Hospital, which will add 112 inpatient beds and expand outpatient and support services. Clinicians here are exposed to a challenging and rewarding clinical case mix, including busy inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine, paediatrics, surgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics & gynaecology, and mental health. These services are well integrated with active emergency medicine, anaesthetics, and intensive care departments, supported by a broad range of allied health services.

ACEM Substantially Comparable
IMG ED Specialists with ACEM interview dates/ looking to be assessed
