- Design, deliver and evaluate clinical education programs that support best practice and enhance patient outcomes.
- Provide clinical leadership through preceptorship and mentorship, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
- Apply adult learning principles to build capability and confidence in staff at all levels.
- Work closely with the NUM to align education with strategic goals.
- Promote a culture of safety, compassion, and continuous improvement in line with the NSW Health CORE values: Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment.
- Uphold professional standards and ethical practice in accordance with national and state guidelines.
- Actively participate in performance development, critical reflection, and the coaching of others.
- Be a role model for excellence in clinical care and professional conduct.

- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a post graduate qualification in a relevant clinical field or education post graduate qualification or a combination of education training and clinical experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD.
