About the role:We're on the hunt for an experienced and passionate Executive Producer to lead the on-air and off-air success of the Carrie & Tommy show. Every day of the week for the drive home, Carrie Bickmore & Tommy Little put out the biggest and best drive show in the country, with the biggest ideas, the best prizes, and the most fun. If you thrive as a leader in the live show environment, and have experience working with premium talent, we want to hear from you.What you'll be doing:The Executive Producer is the driving force behind our team to ensure we deliver top-tier live shows daily. Working with the Content & Creative Director, you'll lead our team that are all the best in the business at what they do, from the world class SCA Melbourne studio's. You'll be the spearhead when it comes to driving and executing our big ideas, creating a fun and productive environment for our team, and ensuring the continued commercial success of the show. Additionally, the Executive Producer is responsible for ensuring all on-air content adheres to risk assessment guidelines and broadcasting standards.If you come alive leading a live radio show, have big ideas, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for producing high-quality, captivating content, we invite you to consider joining our team in this dynamic and impactful role.Experience we're looking for:
  • Demonstrated experience in creating compelling content, structuring engaging segments, and overseeing the production process for a radio show in a metro market
  • Ability to identify newsworthy topics, develop relevant and timely content, and make editorial decisions that resonate with the target audience.
  • Proficiency in crafting narratives that captivate listeners, incorporating humor, emotion, and relevance to keep the audience engaged throughout the show.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with talent, co-producers, and other team members, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment to achieve the show's objectives.
  • Demonstrated understanding of broadcasting standards, compliance requirements, and ethical guidelines to ensure all content meets legal and regulatory obligations while maintaining the show's integrity and credibility.
