The PositionThis is an incredible opportunity to work as an Senior Paediatric Registrar/Advanced Trainee in Canberra’s largest facility.

With over 89,000 presentations annually, a high acuity, the facility has an admission rate of more than 35%
Approximately 20% of paediatric presentations
Provides general paediatric services to approximately 450 inpatients and 1000 outpatients each month
48 in-patient paediatric beds (High Care, Medical, Adolescent and Surgical) and a busy 18 room outpatient department
The position includes clinical, leadership and education responsibilities
Provide support and supervision to junior medical staff
Well supported role with on-call consultant roster

General, Provisional or limited registration with AHPRA or eligible to obtain2. IMG’s that have completed at least the AMC MCQ (part 1) or completed both AMC 1 & 2 (clinical exam)3. IMG’s eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada or Ireland)4.
