Always.We are St Vincent's Health Australia, Australia's largest not-for-profit provider of health and aged care services.Founded by The Sisters of Charity in 1857, our +30,000 healthcare superheroes operate public and private hospitals, residential aged care, community and virtual care, and outreach programs.About the roleThe core business of the PANDA unit is to care for patients with alcohol or other drug intoxication or behavioral disturbance with co-existing general medical, drug and alcohol, toxicological and/or mental health issues including discharge planning.Provide both operational and clinical leadership and ensure appropriate resources and processes are in place for the provision of a safe, high-quality service.Implement policies and local procedures that support staff in the delivery of evidence-based healthcare.Identify opportunities for service improvement and implementing necessary practice changes.Ensuring that all reporting requirements are met and communicated to the Drug Health Service Manager.About youCurrently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency.Recognised post graduate tertiary qualification in a clinical speciality or management (or willingness to undertake same within 12 months) or equivalent relevant experience.Demonstrated operational, financial, human resource, workplace health and safety and effective communication/interpersonal skills experience at departmental level.Comprehensive understanding of clinical governance and current nursing issues.Demonstrated experience in quality improvement principles, clinical policy and procedure development and implementation.Why work at St Vincent's?Join us on our mission to provide care to all, including the most at-risk people in our communityDiscounted access to many gyms for you and your family with Fitness PassportAccess to discounted private health insurance with MedibankAccess to a government salary sacrifice program.
