- Assist with unloading carcases.
- Assist in sorting carcasses into individual runs.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Ensure timely delivery of carcasses and boxed pork products to customers.
- Ensure correct products are delivered and are in good order.
- Return hooks and gambrels from customers.
- Collect payments from customers.
- Ensure truck is clean and hygiene standards are adhered to.
- Notify variances in loads at completion of shift.
- Obey all traffic regulations and drive in a safe manner at all times.
- Comply with Company Vehicle Policy.
- Ensure annual objectives are regularly reviewed and met.
- Contribute to key business activities as required.
- Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, processes and work instructions at all times.
- Perform other duties as directed.
- Sound knowledge of the Melbourne road network.
- Demonstrated understanding of safe manual handling techniques and hygiene standards.
- Good level of physical fitness.
- Strong communication skills, initiative and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Current HR truck licence.
- Forklift licence (desirable).
