Join us and become a Heartist®.Job DescriptionPullman Adelaide F&B operations are escaling up and we are seeking Part Time Food & Beverage Attendants (In-Room Dining Specialist), being the face of heartfelt hospitality, delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences directly to guests' rooms. You ensure every order is accurate, beautifully presented, and delivered with warmth and professionalism, enhancing the overall guest experience.Some of the key duties will include:
- Take guest orders via phone or digital systems with accuracy and courtesy
- Prepare trays and trolleys according to hotel standards and guest preferences
- Deliver food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation and service excellence
- Set up in-room dining experiences with attention to detail and guest comfort
- Clear trays and trolleys from rooms and corridors in a timely and discreet manner
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all service areas
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues with empathy and efficiency
- Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations
Most importantly, it’s your genuine heartfelt hospitality, adaptability, and pride in service that set the tone for an exceptional in-room dining experience.Qualifications, Skills and attributes:
- Certificate II or III in Hospitality (or equivalent)
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
- Previous experience in food & beverage service or hotel room service is highly desirable
- Clear, courteous communication, both verbal and written
- Customer Service Excellence, with the ability to anticipate guest needs and personalize service
- Ability to handling complaints or requests with professionalism
- Proven record for exceptional time management & multitasking while maintaining quality
- Sound understanding of food safety principles, allergens, and dietary needs.
- Familiarity with POS systems and room service protocols is an asset
- Discretion & Professionalism – Maintains guest privacy and delivers service with grace
- Team-Oriented – Works collaboratively with kitchen, housekeeping, and front office
- Adaptability – Handles high-pressure situations and last-minute requests with ease
- Presentation & Grooming – Maintains a clean, professional appearance at all times
