As we expand our operations in Port Adelaide, we are excited to invite enthusiastic individuals to join our growing team!About the role:As Planning Officer, you'll support port logistics by ensuring planning systems, purchasing, and compliance processes are delivered accurately and in line with operational needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date data and records in logistics systems to support operational planning
  • Deliver high-quality customer service by resolving issues and working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards, including NHVR, customs, and biosecurity requirements
  • Support purchasing and planning tasks to align with customer agreements and business targets
  • Monitor service levels and provide updates to meet internal and external reporting requirements
About You:You're organised, detail-oriented, and skilled at working with logistics systems and stakeholders alike. You'll also bring:
  • Relevant tertiary or experience in a logistics, supply chain, or port operations role
  • Knowledge of NHVR, customs, or biosecurity regulations
  • Experience using TMS or other freight and cargo management systems
  • Strong customer service focus and the ability to build effective working relationships
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
  • Flexibility to work at short notice, including irregular hours and weekends when required
