Each of our employees is committed to uphold our tradition of care, quality, and passion through food, and together, we foster an environment where we can all make contributions that matter–from our manufacturing plants to our office locations and everywhere in-between.Work right near the Great Ocean Road, one of Australia's most picturesque landscapes!Join Saputo Dairy Australia in a fulltime permanent opportunity as a Qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic at our site based in Allansford, Victoria (15 minutes away from Warrnambool).How you will make contributions that matterYou will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and repair of up to 45 Heavy and Multi vehicle combination Milk Tanker Trucks. You will liaise with both Tanker Drivers and Fleet Coordinators to foresee travel across the countryside, mainly Southwest Victoria, and assist with breakdowns, diagnose any repair of the vehicles and milk flow meters and assist with the transfer of milk back to depot.About youYou will have:

A minimum Certificate 3 mechanical trade qualification
Previous experience in a similar role ideally within the Transport industry with experience working with diesel engines, hydraulics and electrical systems
A current HC/MC drivers’ licence is desirable, however not essential
Experience working with automatic and manual trucks ideally Volvo’s, will be highly regarded
The ability to work unsupervised and work under pressure and can ensure the fleet is maintained to a high standard.
