Provide static and crowd control duties, access control and monitor the control room at our prestigious client sites in Townsville.

Permanent Full Time & Part Time | $26.12 - $26.99 ph + applicable penalties
Multiple rosters available including Monday to Friday

About the RoleThe position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers, and you will also build strong relationships with your internal stakeholders. We have multiple clients in the Townsville region, you will need to have 24/7 availability. However we also have a Part Time position available on a Monday to Friday roster for someone looking for work life balance. Duties include but are not limited to:Mining Security Officer:

Conduct Access Control duties
Authorised Entry Management of clients and customers
Access Card creation and the use of Gallagher system
Lock and unlock buildings and manage key’s including sign in/out
Respond professionally, courteously, and promptly to all customer enquiries

Corporate Security Officer

Operate the control room
Provide security, static guarding, crowd control and mobile patrols on site
Enforce local council laws
Event coverage required on an Adhoc basis
Respond professionally, courteously, and promptly to all customer enquiries

Skills & Experience

QLD Security Licence – Unarmed as a minimum
Certificate II in Security Operations
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Current Open Drivers Licence
Covid vaccinations – highly desirable
Have an intermediate level of proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
