
Vice President of Sales - Construction and Forestry

- Achieving sales growth and profitability throughout the assigned Territory.
- Achieving asset management goals of turnover, aging, and protecting company assets. Included but not limited to new and used Wholegoods inventory.
- Providing assistance in and guidance for forecasting the right inventory mix to achieve sales and market share goals in the assigned Territory.
- Provide continuous input on the development of standard machine specifications and encourage the selling of the FABs of the standards.
- Assist in managing and developing all sales employees to build a motivated and successful workforce focused on long-term success for the company and customers.
- Provide feedback and input on future opportunities and competitive pressures.
- Assists in compiling and utilising transaction pricing information to maximise market-based pricing and increase margins in all equipment groups.
- Facilitate and promote corporate sales strategy and initiatives through active participation in corporate strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting.
- Achieving the financial sales performance targets as set out in the Company Budget.
- Recruitment, training, development, and management of direct reports.
- Provide input on advertising, promotion, and marketing in connection with Brandt sales.
- Assist with the negotiation of sales contracts with customers.
- Establish and maintain good public relations with communities, civic, political and industry personnel.
- Attend industry events and actively participate and promote all divisions of Brandt during the event.
- Ongoing presence at all physical operating locations within Brandt's prescribed AOR is critical. A minimum of 100 days must be spent travelling throughout the operating locations.
- Continuous ongoing communication and contact with the Sr. VP of Sales daily, weekly and monthly.

- Able to work independently but within a large organisation
- Proven ability to build and grow sales in a team environment
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in a related industry, accompanied by a minimum of 5 years in management or business operations
- A degree or diploma with a business focus is considered an asset, but not mandatory
- A solid understanding of business planning, financial and cost management, and achieving goals
- A professional and resourceful style; the ability to work independently and as a team player, to lead by example, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Must be flexible and adaptable, able to positively impact both strategic and tactical initiatives.
- Strong organisation and time management skills, as well as strong attention to detail and consistent customer focus, are all required skills.
- Candidates must possess and maintain a valid passport and be available for international travel; extensive AOR travel is required.
