AYAN InfoTech is looking for PostGres DBA to join an exciting project based in Melbourne. The role offers you the opportunity to contribute towards an extremely well structured and mature environment, working on sophisticated enhancement projects.Role: PostGres DBA
Location: Melbourne
Contract Duration: 10 Months with high possible extensions
Experience: 5+ YearsRequired Skills & Experience:

Postgres DBA to support, manage and maintain our database workloads.
Install, configure, and upgrade database management systems (DBMS).
Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions.
Ensure data integrity and security by establishing database access controls and backup protocols.
Perform regular database maintenance tasks, including backups, indexing, and archiving.
Develop and implement database recovery plans and disaster recovery strategies.
Collaborate with development teams to design database schemas and optimize queries.
Analyse and troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions.
Maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and policies.
