About the RoleWe are currently seeking applications for a Tractor Operator to join our Cane Supply Team at Invicta Mill, located in the township of Giru.This is a seasonal position that follows a continuous shift roster, which includes weekend work, day shift and night shift and any overtime worked is paid on penalty rates.The Tractor Operator is responsible for the clearing of empty cane bins (and full cane bins at times), pushing and counting empty cane bins, assisting with locomotive and brake wagon movements in the rail yard and setting up of empty and full rail yard lines. This is an entry level position and on-the-job training is provided.Specific RequirementsThe successful applicant must be able to show the following:
Understanding of rail transport operations
Able to work effectively within a team environment
Work safely and look after the safety of others
Possess excellent communication skills
Good mechanical knowledge
Good district knowledge of the traffic operations
