- Managing the coordination of the People mailbox and respond to queries as required.
- Effective and accurate maintenance of Firms' People systems, IntelliHR & Springboard - keeping up-to-date human resource electronic personal files, records, and documentation.
- Reporting regularly on range of People metrics at a team, Practice Group and Firm level including Board reporting.
- Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Provide administrative and coordination support to the People team, including the preparation of employment contracts, letters, payroll, and other ad hoc documents.
- Provide onboarding administrative support, including ensuring all new starter documentation is returned and documented upon commencement of employment.
- Track and help support completion of tasks and projects specific to the administration of the People team, including invoices, graduate and seasonal clerk recruitment administration support.
- Provide administrative support to the People team in the coordination and delivery of Learning and Development initiatives.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management is preferred but not essential.
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in a similar HR role or in a highly administrative role requiring a high degree of people interaction and ability to exercise confidentiality.
- Suitable candidates will demonstrate strong organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail and the ability to problem solve.
- Understanding of the business and commercial context within which the People team operates.
- Understanding of Human Resources policies, processes, and procedures.
- Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Demonstrated an understanding of Human Resources policies, processes and procedures.
- Broad understanding of Legal Services Award classifications and categories if advantageous but not essential
- Broad understanding of the Fair Work Act
- Experience in collating and reviewing data for analysis and preparation of reports.
- Good systems experience (ideally HRIS or similar) is highly desirable.
- Analytical approach to problem-solving and the willingness to assist in additional project work within the HR function will be well regarded.
