- Welcome patients and visitors warmly, creating a professional and caring first impression.
- Manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and follow-ups.
- Answer incoming phone calls and provide accurate, friendly assistance to patient inquiries.
- Process invoices, payments, and Medicare/private health fund claims with attention to detail.
- Maintain up-to-date patient records and ensure accuracy in all administrative tasks.
- Support doctors and healthcare staff by coordinating schedules and patient flow.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar role in a healthcare setting.
- Experience using Profile software is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone.
- High attention to detail, particularly with invoicing and billing procedures.
- Reliable, proactive and able to work independently across designated days.
- Work in a supportive, respectful, and collaborative clinical environment.
