This hybrid role offers a mix of workshop and field-based responsibilities, maintaining and repairing heavy plant machinery and trucks across multiple sites. - Ensure all work meets Downer's safety and operational standards
- Collaborate with a skilled team while also working independently
- Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics, Plant Mechanics, or Fitting (essential)
- Strong hydraulic knowledge and fault-finding skills
- Experience with mobile plant, trucks, and heavy equipment
- Auto electrical experience (highly regarded)
- HR and Forklift licences (desirable)
- A proactive attitude and commitment to safety
