An exciting opportunity exists to join a team promoting quality of life and dignity for those with a life limiting illness.The Specialist Palliative Care Service, based at the Mudgee Hub, is a dedicated multidisciplinary team, supporting patients with a life limiting illness across a number of care settings including hospital, community and residential aged care facilities.The team includes a cohort of Specialist Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Dietitians, Social Workers and Medical Officers and is supported by Clinical Nurse Consultants, Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Educator in Palliative Care.This Heal District Service works closely with other care providers and services to support clients, their families and carers. As a consultation service team, we provide care in the community, residential aged care facilities and inpatient hospital settings.
