Workshop Diesel Mechanic

- Reporting directly to the Workshop Supervisor
- Performing pre-start inspections and routine maintenance
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs on a variety of diesel-powered mining equipment, including LHDs and Drift Runners
- Replacing or refurbishing components as part of planned maintenance
- Maintaining a safe and efficient worksite while identifying opportunities for improvement
- Ensuring compliance with all company policies and safety standards
- Trade qualification as a diesel mechanic or similar
- Previous experience with underground or surface mining equipment (highly desirable)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive work ethic
- Excellent communication and a team-first attitude
- Valid driver's licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & drug screening
- Forklift licence (preferred)
- Other relevant tickets or licences are a bonus!
