
Maintenance Supervisor | Lance Creek

- Supervising and leading the Maintenance team activities
- Delivering preventative and reactive maintenance support
- Ensuring the plant has minimal lost time due to mechanical fault/failure
- Achieve optimal use of current and future mechanical assets
- Administering shift resources appropriately
- Working closely with all production managers, other supervisors to deliver quality outcomes
- Commitment to the business and the ability to positively react to situations as they may arise, whilst finding the best solution
- Maximising employee health and safety
- Direct experience in a manufacturing operation, especially meat processing
- A proven successful management record in leading a repair and preventative maintenance team.
- Computer literacy skills, including Word, Citec.
- Experience in MEX or a similar CMMS
- Demonstrated capability in effective Contractor management and coordination.
- Ability to work through change, drive continuous improvement initiatives and have exceptional communication, negotiation, technical and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of and experience in management of refrigeration, waste water, steam generation and environmental technology.
- A proven record of driving safety compliance and culture, including but not limited to, Forklift operations, EWP, working at heights and Confined space training.
- Preventative maintenance system experience.
- Trade Qualifications with at least five (5) years relevant experience
- Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership and technical skills.
- Experience at a supervisory level, with at least 3 years’ experience managing a team of tradespersons.
- Ability to react and prioritize breakdown situations in a production environment which requires downtime to be minimised.
- Current driver's license
